Adam Werbach
Adam Werbach is Founder and CEO of Act Now. He is highly regarded as one of the world’s experts in sustainability. At age 23, Adam was elected as the youngest president ever of the Sierra Club, the oldest and largest environmental organization in the United States. Under his leadership, the Sierra Club helped create the largest new national park in the country and protect over 3 million acres of public land.  Adam left the Sierra Club and founded Act Now in 1998 to engage the corporate and media world in sustainability.  By 2004, Adam had become critical of the pace of change of the environmental movement and delivered the controversial speech “Is Environmentalism Dead?” Adam is a highly sought-after speaker and writer who has appeared on TV shows such as The O’Reilly Factor, Charlie Rose, and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. He is a contributing editor to In These Times magazine and author of Act Now, Apologize Later, published by Harper Collins in 1997. Adam currently serves on the six-member International Board of Greenpeace. 
Judah Schiller
Judah Schiller is Act Now's Executive Vice-President. In addition to heading up the Outreach divison, Judah is responsible for leading U.S. and international business development and the Wal-Mart global account. Judah is one of the co-creators of the Personal Sustainability Project ("PSP"), the largest grassroots, sustainability initiative ever undertaken by a corporation - Wal-Mart. By successfully transforming "sustainability" - a 14 letter, 6 syllable word - into fun and easy-to-digest concepts within an effective grassroots training and communications framework, Judah and the Act Now team have been able to educate, inspire, and engage the 1.3 million Wal-Mart Associates across the U.S., linking personal interests and happiness to organizational sustainability, planet, and community. In addition to helping Wal-Mart, Judah is working to transform a variety of Fortune 500 companies into leaders of sustainability using a holistic approach that incorporates strategy, activation, and engagement. Judah holds a B.A from Brandeis University, and a J.D. from UC Hastings.
David Steuer
David Steuer is Act Now’s Vice President of Creative Services.  David brings more than 15 years of client services experience in creative strategy, design, and video storytelling. Prior to joining Act Now, David led the design and video production teams for Sawyer Media, a San Francisco-based media company that delivered broadband media solutions and original programming for clients such as Cisco Systems, Citibank, Purina, and Autodesk, as well as broadcast documentaries for NBC and MSNBC television. At the interactive agency Scient, David led the media strategy group, and was responsible for development of all editorial, interactive content, media partnerships, personalization strategies and content management systems for clients including Ziff Davis Publishing and Wells Fargo, along with start-ups like Hotwire.com, Verde.com, and Charitableway.com. At Boston-based Art Technology Group, David managed creative teams for Disney Channel and Disney Imagineering, and was responsible for the development of Disney Channel’s landmark character-based interactive programming block, ZoogTV. When not designing solutions for clients, David creates challenges of his own design with his award-winning video game puzzle series, mPuzzles, which have been distributed worldwide and translated into ten languages.
Lyn Werbach
Lyn Werbach is Act Now's Chief Financial Officer. She brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, strategy, and operations in Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Since 1999, Lyn has specialized in operational and financial management of high-growth service businesses in the sectors of technology, sustainability, and design. Before Act Now, Lyn was the Studio Director at Method, a San Francisco based design and branding strategy firm. At Method, Lyn was responsible for all aspects of studio operations and financial management, with clients including Sun Microsystems, Autodesk, Nike, Cooper-Hewitt, and Yahoo. Lyn also built and managed the operations and finance team for the Bay Area Technology Practice of SBI Group, which later became Avenue A | Razorfish. At SBI Group, Lyn was responsible for project and strategic finance, resource management, operations, and contracts for a team of 200 technologists and dozens of concurrent clients, including 3Com, Nokia, Evolve, Visa, William-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Toys R Us, and Encyclopedia Britannica. Lyn holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MA in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis.
Catherine Greener
Catherine Greener is Act Now’s Vice President of Consulting. Catherine has more than 20 years of experience in the implementation of sustainability, lean manufacturing, and industrial quality management systems.  She has led sustainability and resource efficiency projects for clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to the industrial facilities of multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies.  Additionally, Catherine sits on several advisory boards addressing sustainability in higher education programs, for-profit companies, and the city of Denver.  She has experience in the food and beverage processing, automotive, chemical, semi-conductor, facility automation (robotics), and construction industries.  She combines her sustainability, quality management, and lean manufacturing experience with acute problem solving skills and an exceptional ability to uncover process waste.  Catherine has given numerous talks, facilitated visioning sessions and conducted training classes in sustainability, continuous quality improvement and other disciplines, developed waste reduction programs, and led problem-solving groups for manufacturing strategy.  Additionally, she has experience in ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and Six-Sigma. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and a MBA from University of Michigan.  Catherine lives in Boulder Colorado with her husband Alan in a home featured on the Boulder Solar Home tour.
Michael Mazzaferro
Michael Mazzaferro is Act Now’s Director of Finance and Operations.  Originally from Massachusetts, Michael has worked primarily with small and mid-sized companies, helping them build strong financial and operational foundations for growth.  For over 14 years, Michael managed his family’s candy retail and manufacturing business in the Boston area, expanding the company’s retail operations and establishing a wholesale division servicing local, small businesses as well as premier national accounts including Bloomingdale’s and Fanny Farmer.  Prior to joining Act Now, Michael served as the Director of Company Planning for Gap Inc., responsible for planning and oversight of $1B in annual sales.  Michael grew up in a quaint town on the North Shore of Boston (Nahant), received his B.A. in economics from Harvard College, and was present at Fenway Park when Carlton Fisk hit his 12th inning home run in the sixth game of the 1975 World Series.  Michael moved to San Francisco in 1991, and now lives in the city with his partner, Ed, and their two amazing children, Angela and Carlo.
Robert Hildreth
Robert Hildreth is Act Now’s Vice President of Global Strategy. Robert is responsible for the integral growth of the company and its clients. He has been a trusted advisor and creative strategist for many global companies such as Time Warner, Viacom, Reebok and Disney. Prior to joining Act Now, Robert was chief communications officer at Blu Skye, a management-consulting firm with a principal focus on capturing business value through the lens of sustainability. Prior to Blu Skye, Robert was a Partner and Creative Director of 7ate9, a creative agency based in Atlanta and Los Angeles with a focus on media and entertainment companies. He helped lead West Coast operations for the agency and worked closely with Disney Synergy and Viacom companies. Robert began his adventure in strategy at the Haatsu Agency, a boutique firm in Tokyo and has lived and learned from cultures in Asia, Africa and Latin America. A growing network of friends and collaborators including ecologists, theologians, designers, architects, biologists and researchers fuel his sense of wonder for business transformation. Robert and his wife Sarah recently returned from exploration and adventure in India, Africa and Central America.
